Claims Portal/OIC drop out cases automatically flow into the Nuvalaw platform

Liability Determination

For Claims Portal/OIC drop out cases that require liability determination

Unique inquisitorial/asynchronous liability hearing allowing claimant lawyers and insurers to upload and agreed liability pack (as per protocol). Arbitrators can use NuvaNotes to ask questions from the parties in clarification before rendering the award. This speeds up resolution time, improving process flow while maintaining quality awards.

Quantum Determination

Claim drops out of the Claims Portal/OIC - liability is disputed. The claim automatically flows into the Nuvalaw platform.

Parties use Negotiation Facilities, including NuvaNotes to negotiate resolution or claim is escalated to arbitration.

Claim is resolved within the agreed period, and an invoice is generated.

Liability and Quantum

Claim drops out of the OIC and into the Nuvalaw platform with part liability admitted.

The claim moves to arbitration for Liability & Quantum Determination.

The arbitrator makes an arbitral award and invoices are generated and sent to the parties.

Quantum

Claim drops out of Claims Portal portal at Stage 2 and flows into the Nuvalaw platform.

The parties upload the CPP pack and the claim moves to arbitration for Quantum Determination.
